Helping my father Mr. Frank Tompkins do a lot of those little things, like washing cars, setting up chairs for funerals, and ground maintenance. Having grown up in the business, I began to get a sense of what it was like to help people. In September of 1990 I enrolled into Humber College in Toronto, Ont. In June of 1992 I had recieved my diploma and returned back to Gananoque to join the family business. I am very proud to be able to carry on the legacy started by my grandfather Mr. Arthur Tompkins in 1950. I will continue to work hard and serve the many people in and around our community for many years to come. |
